Creating Emotional Resilience in a Multidimensional World

Our lives are rich with experiences; it’s how we experience life, learn and interpret the experience that forms who, and where, we are today.

We are all unique individuals with different experiences, beliefs and ways of being within ourselves, family and community.  We each build behaviours / patterns of being, beliefs, feelings and thoughts from birth to our present age. Adapting thoughts and beliefs as we age but will still hold even on a subconscious level core belief about ourselves and the world around us, how we interpret and learn from each experience is unique to us. Our lives are enlivened and enriched by some of our life experiences, and diminished by others.

We are all completely individual in what healing/journeying works for us. Your process of journeying will be as unique to you as your fingerprints, so it’s up to you to explore and find the approach that resonates with you.  Give them a try –  build from one technique/experience to the other, and keep going until you reach the state of change and healing you seek.  Deepen your own sense of knowing of being / self and purpose.

All of us go through times when we struggle with adapting to the challenges and changes this complex world brings, and desire more integrative wholeness and understanding within our lives. It can be easy to put the responsibility of our mental, emotional, physical and spiritual wellness to the side and say “well, that’s the way it is” or “I am too busy right now”.

It is can also be easy to expect someone else to make things right in our world when we are the ones responsible for our own mental and emotional wellbeing.

Sometimes there is just a sense that something isn’t right within our world and sometimes it’s really obvious something needs to change. It is at these times we often need more than a friend to listen.

We need someone to hold what I call “Sacred Space” – a safe environment that promotes emotional healing, growth and transformation – the space where you can be completely authentic and honest with yourself

Rebekah is a skilled practitioner -creating a collaborative, energetic space where you can unpack the issues and explore the patterns or thoughts holding you back, as you develop insights into your experience and the possibility of change.  Together we will work with the inherent wisdom within you. “You know what is right for you” and the resources are already located within you. This work helps to integrate new awareness and life skills, creating a greater ability for you to respond to the challenges within your life. Clients report feeling new found awareness of inner resources, emotional wellbeing and a sense of “coming home” within themselves.

No issue is too big or too small.

What can I expect from Counselling and/or Synergistic Therapies?

A holistic way to explore your concerns as you create a deeper awareness and understanding of the issues.

A supportive and confidential relationship which helps you explore important life issues in a non-judgemental, empathetic way, building upon your own inner resources for healing and growth.

Each session normally lasts sixty minutes.
